Defend the brewery - opening sequence

Hi all

 

Thx to Raptorattacker and J2_Jacob, I can now use the alpha layer and the canvas wings don't look like mirrors anymore! Although in this vid it's only my Albatross that has benefited, I'm going to have to redo the other 9 as I didn't know you could save skins other than exported ones?doh!

 

Anyway the vid is the opening sequence of my Defend the brewery SP mission, 6 Albatrossen take on 4 Bristols, 3 ground attack Se5as, all escorted by 3 Se5as, full vid will be on the youtube channel.

Hey, while I'm here... you know the 'tracking shot' at around 1:48 ish? Have you got the camera there by hitting F11 (free camera)? If so, and if you're tracking the plane, make sure you've hit R Shift and F8 to track the plane and then, to stop the jittering effect, record it at half-speed and then speed it up again in the edit. Works wonders!! Generally if you track manually you always get that jittering. It's unavoidable.

Thx for the comment, and the tip. That shot was a simple F3 but I will be using F11 more as it is good for showing a large furball.

 

Unfortunately, the Defend the brewery trk was rendered useless by the update, but I redid all the skins (with a slight improvement I think) and will refly it and make a vid soon.

 

I'm debuting the new updated skins in a vid called "Surprise attack" using the Arras map.
