Ok,

Thought I'd save a bit of time and ask those who may have done this recently, i'm just getting the parts for my new pc and building it, first game to be installed and configured naturally will be anime dating simulator lewd edition... Il2 BOX and I need to know which particular files i should copy for my keybinds etc. i'm happy with skins and textures etc, but i wasn't sure what specifics i need to copy for the controllers. (if win 10 even sees them the same)

I also use the trackhat version of opentrack, i have the file i need to copy but is there anything i should watch out for?

For the curious i bought:
Amd Ryzen 5 3600

Asus Tuf X570- plus

16gb Corsair vengeance LPX 2666 (may get another 16gb later)

Geforce RTX 2060 Super 8gb

WD Blue sn500 500gb.

I reckon it should tide me over for some time.

Pete

Assuming you've not got IL-2 GB installed via Steam, the simplest thing might be to copy over the entire game folder, if you can. It is self-contained, and all you need to do afterwards is create new shortcuts. If that isn't practical, or you want to do a clean install, I think this is what needs copying across.

Folders:

.../data/input (for control settings)

.../data/Luascripts (for cockpit camera settings)

.../data/career

.../data/Missions

.../data/graphics/skins

You could also copy the startup.cfg file across, though with new hardware it might be better to reconfigure things manually.
