hello

Here is how i start my game using the default configINI

INSTALL

I install the eye in admin mode first and exit . you dont need it anymore . I then install  the TRACK HAT software in admin mode and use the default INI to check its behaviour in game . Open in admin mode only then start your game and set up a simple mission with an aircraft parked , call it test . Make sure your front center view key is set properly to see the gunsight reticle dead center and save as F10 without TRACK HAT opened , any adjustments must be made before opening TRACK HAT which means closing the game starting TRACK HAT again and the game again .  take a look around , if satisfied make a copy of the file and give it a name and save in a folder , when you start your TRACK HAT always check that the file is chosen  first , then start it . If most probably you will want to increase your point of view then do only the following . In map YAW look left and right decrease the degrees at the top of the graph , so if 40 reduce to 30 .Do the same for map P pitch look up and down .Do the same for R Roll . Dont touch the rest .  Now close and  exit the game , close TRACK HAT. Open TRACK HAT again in admin mode only and then the game not vice versa . Check the result  and adjust again if you wish but always follow this procedure and you wont get a corrupted start up . If the movements are too responsive  create a slight curve right at the bottom rising to about 10 % at 10 degrees , flat bottom is dead zone .

Comparative to HTC VIVE with Samsung lenses VR

You dont lose any FPS using any Opentrack software . So right now i get a minimum of 120 FPS on the deck and max 160 up in the sky with clouds in solo mode . In VR mode its 44 FPS on the deck and max 89 up in the clouds . This is with a I7 9700K 3.6 to 4.9 CPU ,  Nvidia 1080 TI GPU , 32 GIG RAMS . no overclocking or Mikey Mouse settings . I have not been able to use VR mode to combat online with my present set up because VR suffers what is called SDE screen door effect and therefore the vision is not limpid . Small details are fuzzy and difficult to identify aircrafts even at close range . In VR you have to swing your head the full distance . Stuck behind a goggle for a long period of time can be uncomfortable not to mention practicle issues such as not having access to the keyboard and maybe a beverage .

TRACK IR

This is the best solution i found for online dogfighting and comfort .You dont have to calibrate and spend time doing so . there are no corruptionsYou can calibrate automatically by choosing the game from a list and save .To center you press F12 and you are ready to go . I never had to calibrate again and never encountered grey zones . I have a 32.5 inch monitor and its limpid  , the smallest details are visible at various distances . FPS depending on the map and objects in the vicinity can vary from a minimum of 92 to a max of 120 .

Hope this helps .
