Activating a retail key problem

Hopefully this is the correct forum, if not, please move it there. :)

 

Anyways....

 

I already had BoM and a couple collector planes when I bought BoS from a game retailer. It came in form of a DVD case with steam installation DVD and license key in 3x5 form, not 5x5.

 

I have installed BoM through this website, so it's not a Steam installation. But I installed BoS through Steam because it was required.

 

I followed every step of installation guide and simply can't get both BoM and BoS to play together. Upon finishing installation in steam I started the game and selected "i bought this game, but already have website account" and then linked my steam account and my website account. If I start the game through Steam I can play all of my modules.

 

Unlike what it says in my DVD case installation guide, Steam does NOT show me my cd-key through right-click in library!!! I have no way of getting that cd-key and copy-pasting it into my website account as guide says I should.

 

BUT I really don't like Steam, so I want to be able to play all my modules through the regular Sturmovik website standalone installation.

 

I also tried every possible way to integrate my steam account with my website account, chose "sign in via Steam" when logging into my website account upon which I get the message " Connected Steam Account xxxxxxx", but if I go into "license keys" my BoS key doesn't show up and if I try to add it manually it gives me message "invalid license key". It looks like this: XXXXX-YYYYY-ZZZZZ instead of XXXXX-YYYYY-ZZZZZ-TTTTT-RRRRR keys that I got by buying through the website. As said, the key activated in Steam normally.

 

And if I can't activate my steam key in my website key, is it possible to just transplant my BoM settings into BoS (gfx, controls, etc)?
