About the Info Windows

Hi everyone!

 

I recently started to play with CLOD-Blitz as the astounding work of Team Fusion finally made it stable enough to run on my PC and I soon learned the "lovely" system for the info windows that we have in game after I incidentaly started to mess with them with some misplaced clicks on my part ? 

Good thing is that I now know how to personalize them but I still have two question:

 

1) I incidentaly closed the window for the red Comm texts (how I don't know), I was able to reopen a new one and assigne the Voice profile again but now the text is blue, no way to revert it to red or changing colour?

 

2)There is no way to reset all windows to default? Maybe deleting configuration files somewhere and making the game generates new (and default) ones?

Yes, really a lovely system, because allow you customize, move or close "HUD" windows - what other games don't allow.

 

I just wish that we could customize some info more in deep removing dumb and useless info like "Wheel brakes: 43%, 44%, 45%..." 

 

1 - Strange, I test there creating a New Info Window and adding Voice and text is Red... Can you post a picture of what is wrong?

AFAIK - only "System Time", "Engine  info" and "Console output" have font color customized, with nonsensical number of options. 

 

2 - Look in game install folder, typically (if you have not changed path): ... \steamapps\common\IL-2 Sturmovik Cliffs of Dover Blitz

 

open the file ConfUser.ini there and copy the lines at the end, under [ChatWindow] for your actual ConfUser.ini replacing the actual lines in this section. Path:

 

...\Documents\1C SoftClub\il-2 sturmovik cliffs of dover

 

Or, if don't mind in assign controls again, rename or delete the ConfUser.ini in \Documents\ the game make a copy from install folder.

 

BEWARE: Don't mess with any files in install folder, they are there for backup purpose.
