Actually i was experimenting with the FMB: messing around with Tip's mission no 3, as could not even 'drive' the darn Pe-2 passed all the ground objects without ground looping. First replaced the Pe-2 with an A20, that one makes life quite easier for rookies like me.

Then i placed the Pe-2 35 version loaded with rockets too on the runway, dunno what went wrong above.

But got it going now, and placed some more Gerry naval dead ducks nearby the take off for rocket target practice; nice mission but takes a while to the POA (revenge for you sim freaks LoL; all those shortcuts, still dunno what CTD means, can't sleep) ...

BTW thanks to Tip's missions i began to appreciate this Pe-2, keep it above 200 K-speed, and shake off those darn bugging Me109s.

Only what amazes me is that the onboard gunners are so darn lazy after take off; they seem more alert further down mission 3. Must feed them some more Vodka maybe ... Guess i'll have to dive into Jim's FMB manual; with Oleg's 1946 it all seems so much easier.

Must also figure out how to get the placed naval objects to move and listen to waypoints.

Would like to see a testing mode in the FMB, al that rebooting for tryout tests takes a quite while on my old and tired i7 920 fitted PC

Whenever you place or move an object, always click the Set Objects on Ground button (pg. 193 in the manual).

For ships, pg. 73 will get you started, although you may run into some quirks that people have had getting destroyers to sail a route correctly (I think it had to do with formations).

Good luck!
