TheBlackPenguin Posted October 25, 2019 Author Posted October 25, 2019 I'll be flying and so will miss the Eng Vs AB's game, at least I won't have to worry about chewing my nails off lol.
Stumble Posted October 26, 2019 Posted October 26, 2019 I was so confident New Zealand would win... ?. You have got to be joking Congrats none the less to u English blokes. S! 3
Hoots Posted October 26, 2019 Posted October 26, 2019 Yeah that was a tough old game to watch. I don’t trust the all blacks not to win until the final whistle.
unreasonable Posted October 26, 2019 Posted October 26, 2019 Whoops! Great game: edge of the seat stuff, so glad it was not decided by one score after a dodgy TMO decision. Kiwis in the pub all very gracious after the game - they know good rugby when they see it. 1 2
Trooper117 Posted October 26, 2019 Posted October 26, 2019 Brilliant game, seat of the pants stuff...

unreasonable Posted October 27, 2019 Posted October 27, 2019 I just hope the chap with the tat does not try to get it erased: he should be able to get a few laughs out of it. If Wales were at full strength I would say 50-50, but they have had a terrible run of injuries: Liam Williams IMHO the best full back in world rugby now out with an injury in training. So as it is I expect the Boks to win. I am expecting a massive backlash from the ABs in the punishment 3-4 game: I am sure they will be up to take it out on someone after being dominated.
JtD Posted October 27, 2019 Posted October 27, 2019 I missed the live match, and just watched it now, a great one. It was indeed worthy of a final, not a semi-final. To me it was a somewhat unexpected outcome, but well deserved eventually. Well played, England.
adonys Posted October 27, 2019 Posted October 27, 2019 @JtD where have you seen it, I've also missed it and I would like to see it. We'll have Wales vs South Africa in 1 hour and a half
Stumble Posted October 27, 2019 Posted October 27, 2019 New Zealand is still grieving... The mood is pretty slim atm. The All Blacks are getting old that's the problem. They need some new blood in the system. Yeah Sonny Bill, Kieran and all them are good players but they're just getting to old I reckon. Anyways, I'm hoping it to be England vs South Africa in the finals. Would be good fun to watch!!
unreasonable Posted October 27, 2019 Posted October 27, 2019 So you will get your wish. Bad luck, Wales, cannot get much closer than that. Now I have a week to get my blood pressure down to a safe level....
56RAF_Roblex Posted October 27, 2019 Posted October 27, 2019 (edited) I have to say that although the result was close, I think SA were the better team. As an Englishman I found De Klerk particularly scary. They were just so quick away from the Scrums and Lineouts and he was pivotal in that. Also those fast box kicks. Overall though, not a good game to watch with 81 kicks from the hand. I am hoping SA were only trying to match the Wales style of stifling play and that we get a better final. It was lovely to see England passing fast against NZ. Edited October 27, 2019 by 56RAF_Roblex 1

sammydee Posted November 2, 2019 Posted November 2, 2019 I do not like to see any side humiliated when they give it their all to be there and their national press and television and rugby experts say they are clear favourites to win easily and will dominate international rugby for many years to come. Except the English. ?
unreasonable Posted November 2, 2019 Posted November 2, 2019 Putting your own words in a quote box like that is just downright dishonest: unreasonable said nothing of the kind. Anyway, well played SA - they were much better than they were in their semi, and England were much worse. Now we can all forget about rugby - until February. 1
