Force load certain custom skin on player aircraft

Hello,

 

I am making a mission that uses custom skins on all four aircraft involved. When I load the mission the custom skin does load only on three of four aircraft. For the player plane I always have to set it manually before the mission begins or else it would load only the standard skin. Is there a way to automatically have the custom skin selected when the mission loads? Note: I have enabled "mods on" and I have checked the right skin selection in the mission editor.

I came up against this limitation with my still-only-half-completed scripted campaign. I've done a skin for the player's aircraft and I would like the player to use it! But the only thing I could see to do was to highlight in the briefing text that the custom skin is available to be picked. And, yes, for the AI it's fine - they'll wear whatever you tell them in the mission to wear!

I’ll address this with the devs.

I need the player AC to use a custom skin as well.

I didn't test since a long time, but it worked like that before. If you selected a skin in the editor for the player, the default skin became the skin you set. But the player can change it except if you lock the skin.
