Fw190A3 official 4k Skins historically corrected (faulty links fixed 06/07/22 )

After having been notified that several Fw190 skins had been updated/changed since I'd originally historically corrected them, I have now updated these skins.

Default = \IL-2 Sturmovik Battle of Stalingrad\data\graphics\Planes\target folder\Textures\?????.dds

Others = \IL-2 Sturmovik Battle of Stalingrad\data\graphics\skins\target folder\?????_skin_*.dds

Thumbnail = \IL-2 Sturmovik Battle of Stalingrad\data\swf\il2\worldobjects\planes\target folder\skins\

 

Target folder = fw190a3

 

You may have to create the directory "\swf\il2\worldobjects\planes\fw190a3\skins\" if it does not already exist.

 

Please note: latest skins were created using Nvidia's new Texture Tools plug-in for Photoshop, sadly I have not been able to confirm the optimum settings for this plug-in thus far, I've not seen any issues with the skins myself, however please do let me know if anything seems off.

 

Make sure mods is checked and as usual any problems just let me know.

Skin 03 MAACK is missing (we have 2x skin 02) and skin 09 BAUER is not corrected

Old .... talk about it, somehow I missed the 09 skin while I was doing the corrections, but noticed this oversight long before I uploaded the files, then I moved that bloody 09 skin three times and checked it twice (in the viewer and in the game), and yet I still managed to upload the original uncorrected file. Should have gone to spec savers

Forget everything I've written about skin_02 Leonhardt skin, I just rechecked my most recent extractions and I see it has already been rectified, so I will historically update that official skin shortly.

Where do we find the thumbnails to put into the mentioned folder "Thumbnail = \IL-2 Sturmovik Battle of Stalingrad\data\swf\il2\worldobjects\planes\target folder\skins\"

Are they a separate download thread?

 

Or is there something to generate the thumbnails from the skins?
