WWSitttingDuck Posted September 1, 2019 Posted September 1, 2019 Have a Dserver up and running. Problem is that unless the list is removed joining pilots get file transfer errors. This is on all missions, and these are missions that run fine on another server. No media files, or anything like that in these missions. Am lost as to what could be causing this. Everything runs fine, just no briefing, or subtitles will show if in a mission
DD_FT- Posted September 1, 2019 Posted September 1, 2019 My guess is the .list files have incorrect paths to the mission files in them. You could edit them manually, or re-save all the missions from the Mission Editor.
WWSitttingDuck Posted September 2, 2019 Author Posted September 2, 2019 is the list file case sensitive? folder on server is Dogfight....list is pointing at dogfight... Admin is not available, so do not want to make changes.
DD_FT- Posted September 2, 2019 Posted September 2, 2019 Not sure whether it is ... does not look like it. Here's an example from a .list file we use on the DServer: filename="multiplayer/dogfight/004-fighter sweep 2_112718_parked.spa","2602e07a" Where the full path to the mission folder is this: C:\BoS\data\Multiplayer\Dogfight

Easiest way ive found is to just open the mission editor and resave the missions, there is a option under tools to resave all missions in a folder, I think it is recursive so if you select your missions root folder it should (don't hold me on this I havent tested recently) resave all .mission files in all subfolders. Once the missions are re-saved I recommend renaming all .mission file extensions, I usually add .old to the end of the file name eg. "il2map.mission.old" as this will greatly speed up players joining the server
