2-3 sec freezes in VR and key mapping

Hi all,

 

Been checking out the new content from time to time (P-47 and Brisft ) with quick test flights etc but last night sat down for some serious squad based fun in TAW and found couple of show-stopping problems.

 

1) I now seem to be getting random 2-3 second freezes in game. Never happened before but related to VR? New PC this year with 2080 card means it should be buttery smooth and I’ve lowered settings down. Anyone else with Oculus Rift. FPS is high (90) so trying the work out the issue - as predictably the freezes tend to happen at the worst possible time (low level or in combat). VR issue or something I can solve in the Nvdia 3D settings? 

 

2)  In some update/patch all my Warthog/key settings have gone. Last night try as I might I couldn’t map the keys (eg pitch/mix/supercharger) to the 3-way thumb switches on the throttle. I’m pretty sure they worked OK before like that - but now on the controls mapping page there is no config button delay to allow you to push forward, then push back on a switch to increase or decrease. Very frustrating! Is there a way of manually editing a key settings text file to bring these back?

Intel i7 -9700k 3.6Ghz

32GB RAM

64bit Win 10

RTX 2080

Using a Ryzen 2700x, 1070ti, 16gb ddr4 3200mhz and Rift s on high settings and experiencing no issues at all. Other than that i can't help you.
