How do I open and play a Quick Mission scenario?

I've opened a scenario generated by the Quick Mission function of IL-2 under data/missions/_gen.* in the IL-2 mission editor.  However, when I try to save this file and then play it in IL-2, the game does not list the mission.  No matter what I do, IL-2 does not "see" the mission.  I've even tried resaving the mission as a single player one, renaming the mission, deleting the .msbin file, etc.  Anybody know how I get IL-2 to see this mission after I make modifications to it?

 

Edit: Deleting the tree files per JimTM's suggestion fixed the bug:  "Exit IL-2, delete the ctreecache and mtreecache files from the /data folder and start IL-2."

When you open it in the editor, do change the name of the mission and do a Asave As. As it's a single mission, you have to save it in the mission directory.
