Tacview

Tacview is a great tool for training, learning etc... And I use it all the time in other jet sims, study BFM, ACM etc 

 

One drawback to IL2 is in order to start it vs automatically recording the acmi file, you have to enter keys.  

 

According to Tacview it has to do with IL2.  Please enable a setting to allow auto starting of Tacview - would be a great feature to an already great game

Do you have this in your startup.cfg?

    fx_sound = 2
    record_graphics_effect = 1

    tacviewrecord = 1

Also I haven't used it but SAS_Storebror has made 'IL-2 Great Battles Recorder' which has Autostart track recordings

Yes, I have that in startup.   Are you saying that in order for Tacview to automatically record, I need to run this app ?
