Training for Air to Air

Berlogas an aritficial enviroment but I can hold my own there. I sometimes get kills on WoL and once or twice inTAW but thats more where my problems lie. Now I have a headset and tracl ir does anyone wanna take me under theit wing and help me get better spotting and fighting? Or any squads? Thx

Actually trackir can be a bit disadvantage when new to it in regards of spotting. You need to be aware of things not suppose to be there. 

Using trackir you need to scan the surrondings by try to keep you head still for a moment in all directions. Moving your head will make you to overlook details. 

Trackir is a advantage once you spotted a plane. 

I wish I could help you in regard of improving fighter skills but I am probable worser than you

You should probably try the squadron section of the forum. There you will be able to find several squadrons and some of them provide training. IMHO though, you should consider those that prioritize teaching you how to fight in group and use the proper tactics to do so. There is a big difference in being a duelist and a dogfighter in my opinion. You can be a great duelist pilot and fare poorly in most online servers since there you need more discipline and situational awereness than in 1v1 fights. I know plenty of pilots who are mediocre at dueling, including me, but great pilots when performing in groups.

I dont have as much experience with groups. Ideally Id find one that played this and DCS. I really want a regular to fly my f14 with.

That said I do alright in online servers I just need more practice.  Berlogas dueling - WoL is more like putting yourself up for duels and risking numbers against you or disadvantage or even sudden death from nowhere which unfortunately happens all too often with me.

Thanks and yeah I knew about the subforum, I was just asking him about the 352nd and it was a spur of the moment question.  Im sort of undecided.
