jamesrf40 Posted August 16, 2019 Posted August 16, 2019 So, I am currently playing through the Moscow single player campaign, and I had a question. How does the reinforcements work for the opposing side? Can they run out of aircraft and then have to wait until their unit is sent new airplanes and pilots?
Jade_Monkey Posted August 16, 2019 Posted August 16, 2019 Pretty sure it's not that dynamic. I don't think they could ever run out of planes in the current career.
PatrickAWlson Posted August 16, 2019 Posted August 16, 2019 Probably localized and temporary. I don't think anybody ever ran out of planes our pilots beyond a very temporary and localized situation. Replacements were always available. Any shortage was very temporary and quickly made up. What did happen is nations ran out of good pilots, or even competent pilots. Replacements always lacked the combat experience of the pilots that were lost. In the case of Germany they were less and less well trained than their predecessors as well.

It’s basically a mission generator that creates missions based on historical parameters.
