Logitech Extreme 3D Pro not working in Flying Circus

Hello,

I'm tried numerous things but the joystick doesn't work in game. I tried PaPaw's driver trick.

I tried Muskoka's trick for stopping Logitech software on boot.

I tried Sokol1's trick of unchecking (and checking) the controller boxes in Steam

I even deleted the newest 9.whatever Logitech software that didn't detect my controller and installed the older 5.whatever version that does detect it.

I tried the other USB port.

This is a brand new Dell 7590 with Windows 10, brand new Rift S, and brand new Logitech Extreme 3D Pro. I came over from ROF which I loved and now I'm ready for Flying Circus PLEASE HELP ME.

First, if have not done this, confirm if you joystick is working OK.

Press Win(key) + R, type joy.cpl and hit enter for bring up Games Controllers.

If Logitech stick is listed, select and click in properties and test axes and button.

If are OK there, case you use Steam version of game:

Assure that in Steam interface, "Generic Gamepad Configuration Suport' is un-ticked:

If don't use Stem controller un-tick all options.

If don't solve, try.

Go to game installation folder and rename the file devices.txt inside IL-2 Sturmovik Battle of Stalingrad\data\input\

Plug your stick and start the game.

Thank you so much Sokol1! Changing the file devices to devices.txt fixed it!
