I stumbled upon this video of the invasion of Crete from the view of the Luftwaffe and Fallschirmjager troops. It has a lot of great footage. Thought I would share it!

That was an great video, thanks for sharing! This is next in my reading queue after I finish reading about Iraq in WW2:

 

 

And I have always had a suspicion that this could be a good place for Il-2 GB series to go since it seems a relatively small scale geographically, it doesnt have a huge number of ground units, and has lots of air operations.But I will wait until I have read more about it before making any definitive statements..
