Saving equipment settings

Is there a way to save the settings regarding equipment, camo etc. so I do not have to do that every time I choose a plane or tank. (for most handy in FC with all the instrument options)

you can indeed, sort of...
In QMB, if you click the little wrench icon next to your chosen plane BEFORE you click start (rather than clicking start and then clicking the bigger load out button on the bottom right that takes you to the hangar view), you can choose things like load out, skin, fuel and convergence, and these things will become the default for that type of QMB mission in future, regardless of map or location.
Wish there was a way to do it for career too, or better yet—per plane.

Sometimes it is saved, but you cant change that again. It will keep the first setting. I dont know how it works

I find it works reliably, including changing it again.

the wrench sticks, doing it after you click start is temporary.

Thanks, I will try that. But it would be nice if they made a "save" button. The same goes for the controls/keybindings although you can save those by making a backup of the input files.  I save every set in a separate (numbered or labeled for a special plane setup) folder.  I hoped I could do something similar for the plane equipment settings.

Totally, it’s not the best system.

Rather than a save button, it simply needs to 'remember' your selections for each plane as per your last flight in that plane.

RoF does this perfectly and I'm sure it would be easy to implement.
