I am starting this thread for people to post about new Virpil software.  I addition I hope it can be a repository of any issues encountered and solutions.

That being said I have my own issue to solve.  I am reposting this from another thread but for a different reason than trouble shooting.  I am currently using Configuration Tool v20190723.  I have the issue below of pauses in the axes and buttons.

Screenshot of Joystick Gremlin tools input viewer monitoring the pitch movement while in game settings, input responses (not flying).  The blue curves are the back and forth movement of the pitch, with the green circle indicating where the lag appeared.   Tests in JG outside of the game, prior and subsequent to the screenshot, were unable to duplicate the lag over much longer periods of time.

And the roll lag in red:

Other devices in game are not showing any lag.

I have tested many times trying to nail down where this glitch is occurring without any luck.  At this point what I want to do is roll back the Configuration Tool and firmware to v20181122.  I have tried to install the older firmware without any luck.  After the install it never recognizes the device properly.  Do I need to uninstall v20190723 through Control Panel?  Do I have to reset the devices to factory defaults and, if so, how?  Is anyone aware of how to accomplish this successfully?

I was able to reinstall v20181122 firmware.  Will report back if this solved the pause issue.

I have put in a number of hours of flying, both on-line and off, since I reverted back to v20181122 and I have not experienced any pauses on the axes or buttons.  IMO there is an issue with the firmware updates from v20190628 on that cause this.

Hey All,

I'm having an issue with the new Virpil Control Panel, which I have successfully slaved to my Throttle T50 CM2 in Configurator.

I've added bindings to various buttons, switches and axes in BOS settings and it all looks good to go - BOS recognises the bindings as assigned to 'Joy 3' and registers them correctly.

However, when I start up a flight, none of the Control Panel bindings have any effect in the simulation. Everything else (i.e. throttle, grip, pedals) is fine, just not responding to commands from the Control Panel.

Any ideas?

Cheers

I think you may have to save your new hardware configuration under a new profile via your VPC software program.

Thanks @bzc3lk

Tried that. No joy. I've asked Virpil to help. Will post any solutions if they could be useful to others. Cheers
