PatrickAWlson Posted July 29, 2019 Posted July 29, 2019 User: a human being Persona: a PWCG pilot associated with a user Single player: One human user in a campaign One persona at a time per campaign Only one persona in the mission Persona is wounded or killed no new missions can be flown until state changes. Persona is wounded you must take leave until he is healed. Persona is killed the campaign is over for that persona. Q: In a single player environment what do I do if my persona is wounded A: Take leave until he is healed. Time to heal is stated on the leave page. Q: In a single player environment what do I do if my persona is killed A1: Create a new persona and continue A2: Terminate the campaign Coop (Cooperative and Competitive) Many human users Many personas per user are allowed Only one persona per user in a mission As long as there is one unwounded persona available to fly a new mission may be created If a persona is wounded then that persona may not fly until he is healed If a persona is killed then that persona may never fly again. Q: In a coop environment what do I do if my persona is wounded A1: Create an alternative persona and fly until your original persona is healed A2: Abandon the wounded persona and make a new one A2: Wait for your original persona to heal and don't fly I recommend A1. Q: In a coop environment what do I do if my persona is killed A: Abandon the dead persona and make a new one 2
Yogiflight Posted July 29, 2019 Posted July 29, 2019 In Single Player if your pilot is killed, there are two workarounds, to fly on with this pilot. First, simply refly this mission. As long as you didn't create an AAR, nothing has happened, refly the mission and PWCG will go on with the latest result. Second, go back to PWCG, but instead of creating an AAR, simply scrub the mission and create a new one. This means for PWCG the fatal mission did not happen the second one is the one, that counts. This is what I did, when I wanted to go on with my campaign, because I don't like reflying missions. One thing, I dislike about scripted campaigns.
