JG27*Kornezov Posted August 1, 2019 Posted August 1, 2019 (edited) You need to join a squad and talk to real people. There is a limit how much entirely theoretical studies can be usefull. The learning curve is very steep indeed. Edited August 1, 2019 by JG27_Kornezov

Flying on comms online even with just randoms can be very helpful. I've gotten some very good help and tips from people I just happened to fly online with. In any case, the first step is to get the basics of flying your aircraft and learning gunnery skills. This kind of thing can be done largely on your own with reading and watching videos, it is not really complicated. 1 on 1 combat can be learned on your own (though you will learn faster with help). Fighting effectively as part of a team in a combat zone needs practice, unsurprisingly, with a team in a combat zone.
Rick_Rawlings Posted August 2, 2019 Posted August 2, 2019 First dogfight?!? Pfft. I can't do any better than that now! Good job!

Hey man we flew together at one point, I took a long break was wondering if you're willing to the same some time? I'm eager to learn.
