Career Saves

Hello all.

I've just recently obtained BoS and being a single player enthusiast, i play the campaign. It's quite good and i enjoy it quite alot.
After the last update i've been reinstalling the game every day, due to some technical issues both with my PC and the game client, which it's ok but....
I keep loosing my campaign progress. Every time i reinstall the game i need to make one from the start. Is there a way that i can avoid that ? I searched the forum for Career Save/Game Save/Save etc, but i couldn't find something telling where are the files that needed to be copied. Also, wouldn't be easier if it worked like most games (documents/my games/Il2 saves/****) instead of the game folder ? Is there an option for that to happen ?

I have recently had to reinstall IL2 and wanted to keep my career. The 'Career' folder is within the 'data' directory of IL2. Before reinstalling the game, make a copy of the 'Career' folder, then after reinstalling the game, replace the 'Career' folder within 'data' to your old saved 'Career'. Good luck.
