Top right hand corner there’s a drop down, select from there.

Don't think you can. These quick battles are "scripted". All you can change is planes and time. If you want diffrent seasons i guess you will have to make your own mission or download one made by other people.

Well, in "CloD way":

In Quick Mission selection, choose a mission and click in SAVE AS button, rename the mission adding the new season name, example:

Clo-DQMAutumn.jpg

Close the game and now using Notepad or better Notepad ++ (don't use Wordpad, Word...or similar) open the file 001 - Free Flight - Channel - Autumn.mis file and change

[PARTS]
  core.100
  bob.100
[MAIN]
  MAP Land$English_Channel_1940 >>>>>>>>for:   MAP Land$English_Channel_1940_Autumn (Or winter)

Save the file, open the game and test the mission.

After if you think it's worth it - the Autumn and Winter maps are ugly, do the same for other missions.

Could use FMB, but is a bit more complicated, need copy QM files from Steamapps...Mission\Quick for

Documents\1C...Dover\Missions\Single and after change copy for

Documents\1C...Dover\Mission\Quick (pay attention in the "s"). An "It's CloD!". :negative:

Bloody hell Sokol!  All that to select the a different season?:o:

Ok, I know; 'it's CLoD!':(   Pity as the Cliffs winter map is quite outstanding.

Hopefully this is the sort of stuff that Team Fusion can straighten out in the near(ish) future.

Thing is that CloD need a better GUI, the actual is a "workwaround" semi-functional (e.g. non working loadouts, convoluted set/salve ammo belts...)

I remember a topic in 1C forum (are not able to find now) in what Lutier complains about the difficulties in make changes in game GUI, practically admits not being able to make changes there.

"The GUI especially is our Achilles heel. Like I wrote earlier in the thread, somebody somewhere before I ever showed up chose to make it in a horrible clumsy environment called WPF. By the time I showed up it was too late to go back, and going forward proved extremely painful. Each new screen took forever, everything was clunky, tiny changes or bug fixes required insane amounts of effort, and in the end it took a tremendous painful effort to reach the decidedly insufficient GUI that we have today."

I remember.  It was 'answers to community questions'  - or something like that.

He did a spot of Q & A and it turned into the usual banana forum bloodbath:).   He did a lot of plain talking that day!

Poor old Ilya, he was a great guy really.

Still can't help grinning when people mention 'kickstarter' round here.:salute:

Yes, the GUI is very difficult to re-code.

But we do plan changes.

Re. Ilya:

It is certainly the case that Ilya Shevchenko/Luthier is a nice guy, very personable.  ?

But from my perspective, it is also clear that he made fundamental errors in how he approached the development of CLIFFS OF DOVER.

There were too many diversions into areas which did not need attention, and not enough focus on core elements and the details.

Too many bugs were left unaddressed which could have been fixed in the development process with a little more quality control.

TF now has to locate and find these bugs after the fact... it would have been much easier to fix the problems at the time of original development.

Luthier also overlooked obvious solutions to problems... not sure why, maybe he had a problem with too much responsibility for too many  areas.

Anyway, TF owes Ilya and especially Oleg a vote of thanks for developing a game system with as much potential as CoD has.

We hope with TF 5.0 we will go some way to allowing that full potential to be enjoyed by the community.  ?

What if a second engine (for example UE4) would be used to powering the GUI if the current GUI is difficult to re-code?
