Markedly Worse Performance After Update

After playing for the first time since this weeks update, I've noticed quite worse performance in VR, like in any given situation I'm going from 50-60 FPS down to 30-40 FPS in VR. Anyone else noticed this?

Check your graphics settings.

I didn't save my config file before launching the updater yesterday and all my settings reverted to default.

I am a fool in many things 

but I have this aweful tearing moving the track ir sideways the tearing is in the middle. 

What is it I have to turn on or off to get rid of it

I find myself unable to change graphics settings either, so I cant improve my FPS. After the restart they are just right back to where they were before.

Check the launcher. Push settings on that. It was on VR by default after this patch

Try turming vsync on. It’s possible graphic setting were reverted if you deleted your updates folder in order to download the patch correctly so check your other settings too.

I'm getting worse frame rates since the update as well. Was getting 60-80 fps before. Now it's 45-65 fps. I backed up my config prior to updating, using identical settings as before, and have made no hardware or software changes on my end. This is not a complaint; merely a sitrep, fwiw. My aging 1050ti just can't keep up as well as it used to.

Yes, I often suffer such throttling. I found I could get back to my normal 4.5 MB/s by unplugging my router... wait about ten seconds and plug it back in.
