End of 1941, Kittyhawks, to supplement and then replace the Tomahawks. By the end of January 1942, two squadrons had been completely re-equipped.

Three RAF squadrons operated this aircraft up until 1943... Imagine racing across the channel, shooting up E boats on route, then hammering a jerry airfield, ground convoys and trains, all things the Whirlwind did well and was highly praised for. Rhubarbs and Roadsteads ops were it's forte, plus it could hold it's own against 109's at lower altitudes. So yes, I would love to see someone put one in game... 1 1
