Hi, I´ve problem with the subtitle translator. I don´t know what doing wrong but the subtitles are not visibile. I´ve set up a deathmatch mission and now I´m testing it ( alone, only 1 player is in the game ). I have Mission start op. - trigger timer for 10s and after that, the subtitle command and so the text message should be fired up. What am I doing wrong? Thanks for help

I'm not sure why your mission's subtitle messages aren't working. I thought maybe it would be a font size issue (but I've never had an issue with 40px before); so I did a little test.

I have pretty much the same logic as you, and mine worked perfectly fine. I wonder if your mission is jacked up? Sometimes that can happen...

To solve the issue:

1. Save your entities as a group

          a. optional: goto bin/editor/ and reset your mission editor settings

2. Start a new mission file

3. Setup all your mission parameters

4. Reimport the group you saved earlier into this new mission

5. save the new mission as a new file name

6. ?????

7. PROFIT (hopefully)

Are you actually sitting in a plane on the ground when testing this? I see you have it disabled for Neutral coalition - so you wont see it if you are just spectating. You have to actually be on either the soviet or axis side for it to show..

also, how long is your timer? it needs to be set for a long enough time for you to get into the mission and spawn into a vehicle, so make it around 15 seconds at least to give you time to get into the mission..

Yeah, I am in the plane in the air ( airstart ). I´ve already tested starting from the ground with same result. FIrstly I set up subtitle command also activated by the check zone. I could not see any text message so I try to set up subtitle command right after mission start with 10 s delay.

Make your timer longer ( try 1 minute) to be sure you join in time.

Try making the timer longer (like 30s) and see if you see it then. I have often missed a subtitle because I wasnt in the game in time. Thats all I can think of because subtitles do work, so there must be something strange happening. Maybe try making font size 20 as well and see if that helps..
