ShugNinx Posted July 18, 2019 Posted July 18, 2019 Hello ! Did anyone manage to make use of the Warthog mouse axis in IL2 ? I tried to use it to control external free camera, but it's way too sensitive...
Sokol1 Posted July 18, 2019 Posted July 18, 2019 (edited) This "slew" device in Warghog is "loved" for being almost useless. Imprecise, unergonomic, low resolution (8 bits) on axis, require high value of deadzone, what limit more their use. So much so, that an upgrade exists: https://deltasimelectronics.com/ Probable you have more success using this "slew" configured (TARGET or 3rd part keymapper with "axis2key" function) for send key press, and use this keys for control camera. ShugNinx Posted July 18, 2019 Author Posted July 18, 2019 Jeeeeez... So they actually managed to make it worse than the IBM-style track-point on the old F16-TQS ? ?♂️ I thought mine was defective at some point...
Sokol1 Posted July 18, 2019 Posted July 18, 2019 Well remembered, that #$%%#$ "IBM" pressure thing of F-16/F-22 TQS are a pain. Warthog "slew" is their son.
