Yes, feel free to buy everything else you want from the website, and when you launch "BOS" from steam, all your content will be there.

Hi there,

I can't seem to get what I bought from the IL-2 Website (we all want to support the Devs!) to somehow be visible under my steam account.

I tried to connect the account to my steam account but it says that "I have no content".

Do I first have to buy e.g. Bos -again- in my steam account (and thus pay twice) or is there a way to get my IL-2 website purchases to show under my Steam Account !???

Thank You, Regards,

Stefaan

No you can't see it in your Steam DLCs, as Steam only shows you content that you purchased at their website. You only see what you purchased through IL-2 website inside the game. But that should not really matter anyhow.

Thank You Yogiflight,

Unfortunately it may matter.

A few weeks ago I had trouble buying DLC (collector plane) because the Xsolla 'payment service' refused me to pay for it.

I then (and therfore) tried to buy the DLC IL-2 collector plane using my Steam account, but couldn't because I didn't buy BoS from Steam (but from the IL-2 Website directly).

After emails with the Xsolla 'service' I can now again buy IL-2 assets, but in the future I don't want to go through their paywall-joy again.

Never had any problem buying from Steam (or ED/DCS modules for that matter)  !

That's why I like a second option.

Thank You again,

Stefaan

is there any difference in performance between Steam and standalone version?

- Any performance difference ... would doubt it !?

But, as we know, there are other differences like Updates, no early access, activation of course.

I would also like Steam as an -additiona- option (just in case ...)
