IL2 Tank Crew, Tank spinning out of control

Hello, just curious if other people are having the same issue as me. I have W key mapped for drive forward. When I am driving holding W down, I want to open chat (Enter), map (O), or scoreboard (Tab). I notice while holding W down and hitting enter to open chat, I can then let off W, type in chat and my tank will continue driving forward on its own. I then close chat by hitting enter and my tank is on cruise control as if I'm still holding down W. I can input A and D and the tank will turn as much as I want left or right while the tank still drives forward on its own. If I hit S the tank slows down and brakes. I can tap S to slow down, hold S come to complete stop. Once I let off it will continue forward on its own. The way I can get it to come off "cruise control" is by hitting W again. This is fine and dandy and allows me to type in chat and not have to hold my finger down on W for long drives. However the problem I have discovered and cant quite figure out is sometimes randomly (not every time) when I am driving holding W and open the map (o) or scoreboard (tab) the tank then spins out of control and does left or right 360's as if the D key is held down or the A key is held down. It will do spinning circles until I hold the key in the direction of the turn, so if it is stuck doing a right hand turn I have to hold D and A for left hand turn. This is extremely annoying during game play, I assume this is a bug and not supposed to be part of the tank controls. I am wondering if its just me having this issue and maybe it has to do with my key mapping or if its a bug for others.
