I bought "IL-2 Sturmovik: Battle of Stalingrad - Standard Edition" direct from the developers (i.e. not on Steam). Is there any way for me to play in VR?

Yes. I believe you still need to install Steam to use Steam VR though.

Thank you for this! I bought the game direct, thinking I'd support the devs without Steam taking their cut. Received a Samsumg Odyssey+ today, imported into the UK, and had a bit of a panic that I'd need to re-buy in Steam to play VR!

Thankfully, they don`t charge extra for it like some other games do. There is a way to run without Steam, but that`s getting a bit advance right now.
