SIA_Sp00k Posted July 13, 2019 Posted July 13, 2019 So if I am using VR and recording in Shadowplay (from ingame recording). How do I change it to 2D for non VR users to see? Is there a program or process I am missing?
[DBS]Browning Posted July 13, 2019 Posted July 13, 2019 (edited) You can't. Edit: You can! (see below). Here is an alternate method: Instead, you could record a track and then play the track in 2d IL2 and record the footage from that. The track will be identical to what happened at the time and will record your head movements also. If you need to record audio also (i.e. from teamspeak or discord) you could do that at the time and edit it in later. Edited July 13, 2019 by [DBS]Browning 1
O_DesoLunatic Posted July 13, 2019 Posted July 13, 2019 Actually you can set it up, you have to use OBS to record, in there you need to select the shadowplay encoder NVENC and you need OpenVR capture plugin, link below: https://obsproject.com/forum/resources/openvr-input-plugin.534/ You can choose there which eye to record from and how to crop the image so it fits 16:9 ratio of most flat screens. 1 1

Replay track in game and hit Shadowplay. Here I am harassing the ground attack a.i. I'm meant to be escorting in a squad coop. I like Shadowplay for it's minimal performance impact but have yet to work out how to include the all important audio of squadmates discussing targets, tactics and what tonights TV weather girl was wearing,...... 1
