how can you put a platform with a flak in front of the locomotive?
I have tried the following: platform in front of the locomotive with Target connected with each other, unfortunately this does not seem to be the solution. The locomotive drives off until it hits the platform and then it stops. And the platform as the first objet to make only leads to the game crashes. Does anyone have an idea or is it not possible?

Nearly 100% sure thats not possible. Trains work a bit differently to other objects in that you only have to place the locomotive, and then you can add as many carriages as you want to the train in the "carriages" tab and they all link together and follow the locomotive when the mission loads, but you cant place carriages ahead of the locomotive.

Use two trains. One loco pulling a flak platform at a short distance of the front of another loco pulling the train. Distance is to be carefully defined not to have collisions.

I know it is not very elegant but at least you have a platform in front of the second loco.

You can have one convoy of three trains. The front train and the back train are bristling with guns. The middle train is transporting troops and equipment.

Depending on the railway yard or station configuration you can have the trains arriving and build the convoy and then have the whole three train formation leave. It is not very complex to do just all is to calculate the timings according to the real speeds, which depend on the global processing load. Simulation time is not real time if the game load is high for your machine. The time consuming is not building the logic but the trial and error to have the right timings.
