I have my moniter run at 75hz and I have Nvidia Vsync and Triple Buffering along with the ingame vsync and I still get some real bad screen tearing, Any ideas? I run at solid 75fps With a 8700K and a 2070,

Is there something I could do with the Nvidia Control Panels 'Maximum Prerendered Frames'?

Try not having VSync selected "in the game" along with vsync selected in your GPU settings. They may conflict. If that indeed is how you have things set up. :salute:

I have tried both, it runs smoother(as in less screen tearing) with all 3 running.

Nvidia has not supported Triple Buffering in Direct X for years. Its a setting for Open GL. So that will have no effect.

If you are running your monitor at 75 i assume that is one of its native resolution settings - if so check in the NCP that your monitor's settings are reflected in there (change resolution menu).

As Thad says - one or the other is usually best but you can try running the game in the different full screen and windowed modes (selected in the games graphics menu) to see if that impacts on anything.  Also check that the NCP settings are linked to your launcher (IL2.exe).

There is nothing you can do with the Pre-rendered frames that will impact on screen tearing.
