transfer from windows 7 to widows 10

Gentlemen, I have been running il2 BOS on windows 7 for a long time. But, i'm having trouble now with windows 7. I'ts time to purchase a windows 10 PC. I'm really not a computer guy but how do i transfer il2 BOS files  to a new computer.  thank you very much.?

Well, if I were you I would do a whole new download and installation of the game afresh.

 

You may want to backup at least some of your current files that contain your game options.

 

If you're buying a new computer you can just grab them from tbe old one as you need them.

 

But I wonder: are you changing your PC just because of the OS? I moved to 10 on the same PC. I did have spare hard drives though, so I had my old stuff safe while I installed the new one. You may need a new PC fir other reasons but don't let the OS be the driver of the change.

 

Installing 10 was both fast and easy. And it never gave me problems. 7 was driving me crazy with problems in the updates - infinitely updating, etc..
