=FEW=N3cRoo Posted July 2, 2019 Posted July 2, 2019 (edited) The A-20 technochat pops the oil overheat warning at 80°C which is the lower limit of the rated area. Its rated for 80-95°C maximum is 105°C even tho you can push to 120°C till your oil pressure can drop till failure. Note: the point where the warning pops up is right in between the two engines, since one is always a bit hotter bec of the generator load Edited July 3, 2019 by =FEW=N3croo 3
FlyingH Posted July 6, 2019 Posted July 6, 2019 The lower oiltempgauge is reading 200C, could it be that you get warned about?

Susceptibility Posted September 2, 2019 Posted September 2, 2019 I can confirm this problem, the technochat warns at too low temp for overheating. Cyl head is rated from 140-240 and max allowed is 260, oil output is 80-95 max 105, but around 70-75 deg I get overheat warning. I've completed some missions with these warnings on, and the engine was fine, so the problem is with the techno chat, not with the engine tolarence.
[DBS]Browning Posted September 3, 2019 Posted September 3, 2019 It's well known amongst the regular bomber pilots in [DBS] that the temp warning in the A20 should be ignored as it happens at low temp. We can confirm this bug. 1
