For anyone searching the same somehow, or someday:

According to Jason's post at the bottom and tech support:

Hi All,
Recently bought Battle of Stalingrad, and read up about activation techniques and other stuff and such, and I'm just wondering, since I bought the game on Steam, then launched IL-2 BoS and logged in with my account, it still doesn't pop up on the account on this website... I mean it's running fine and I've played a bit, but, have I done goofed anywhere..? It says no key activation nor does it say I have any purchases... I've tried finding the CD Key tab on Steam but that didn't work, so I'm sort of worried (quite a bit) at the moment. I did some sort of 'login with steam' thing on the option where you can log on with steam on this site, but that doesn't seem to have helped or have changed anything...
Have I screwed up or am I safe..? Can't afford to lose the sim..

Well, I did do the linking thing using this e-mail on this account (my only account) but it doesn't show up or anything, but even when I log out of the forum, and use Steam to sign in, it pops back on this account. I assume it's linked but am wondering if an admin/higher up can give more info whether it is linked or what...

It's sort of confusing though. My main concern is to know if my account/ownership is linked so I can remain hassle free. I made this account way before buying IL-2 BoS so perhaps that's why..?

To make sure your account is linked, Login here (https://il2sturmovik.com/store/license-keys/) go to profile and check licence keys. If your shop account is linked with steam it should show you that license under type=Steam.

Okay so it's clearly not worked. Tried launching the game without Steam running and I have no aircraft available...

If I login with Steam on the il2sturmovik site, it throws me here:

and this 'account' is my current account I'm using right now (added my clan tag a few mins back)
 

 

still no license keys:



I followed a few posts to try to get the CD Key but... No avail. Will definitely need some admin/staff help.

Edit: Apparently you don't need to activate it on the Site (which I figured) but when I first launched the game, I logged in with this (il2sturmovik.com) account so it should have been linked but it isn't but I'd also like to run it without Steam (couldn't make the purchase any other way than Steam since I sold CS:GO skins for the cash).

I'd really help with saving RAM as Steam sometimes hogs ram like Chrome does..

Ah I see. From my account I remember that I had to register my steam keys here (that was back then before the change) and I also have linked my steam account with my 1CGS account, because I buy my stuff here at the shop to give the devs the maximum share.

 

Checking with support, can´t hurt to be sure if everything is OK in your case.

I suppose I'll have to definitely message support.

Funny thing is, I ran Steam and IL2 after trying to run it without Steam, then I got the 'link accounts' green button for some reason, ironically, both e-mail logins (my main main and I'm using only one) works when Steam is running but when Steam isn't running I don't get my planes.

Forwarding this whole thread to support. Thanks for the help though. :)

Also no worries, everything is legit and no shady stuff; must be a glitch - I have a lot of bad luck in life, so everything is okay in my case for sure.

Hi Jason,

Thanks for the reply, this PDF file was much better and made it much clearer of what's going on, actually, this part answered it all:

"Our website CANNOT see what you bought on Steam after we made the switch to the new system and vice versa."

That's about it then I guess, I'll mark this as solved, thanks both for your help.
