Why am I downloading the game at 400-600 KB/s?

When I had 100 Megabyte connection, I was downloading approximately at the same speed as in the title.
Now I have fiber connection of 1000 Megabyte and I am still downloading at this slow download rate.
Why is that? All of my other applications (Steam, Uplay) are downloading just fine at max speed.
Turning on/off "Prefer web distribution" did not help.

I recently experienced the same 'type' of download problem. After much aggravation... I ended up unplugging my routers power... waited 10-15 seconds.... plugged the power back in and my download speed was back to its' normal 4.2 MBs/sec. 

 

Might be worth a try.

I also sometimes get a very slow download speed. I just cancel and run again and it normally fixes it.

Be very happy with 400kbs.

That's about what I get, but I remember it being slower in the past.
