Ah_dammit Posted June 29, 2019 Posted June 29, 2019 Hi guys, Complete novice here. I have just received my joystick, a Thrustmaster T16000 FCS On the Y axis, it works backwards, if I pull back, the plane dives and vice versa. Does anyone have advice for a computer simpleton? I can't figure out what to do in the Target software. Thanks John
AndyJWest Posted June 29, 2019 Posted June 29, 2019 No need to use external software - you can reverse any axis in-game. Find the axis in settings, then find 'invert' with the mouse and click it: And welcome to the forums.
Ah_dammit Posted June 29, 2019 Author Posted June 29, 2019 Andy, Thanks!!!!!!!!!!! I really don't know what I'm doing here, lol. The welcome is much appreciated too.
Ah_dammit Posted July 12, 2019 Author Posted July 12, 2019 Ok, thanks to Andy, I have that figured out. However, no matter what I do, I cannot get the pilot view to work properly. Looking side to side, no problem, but up and down is backwards. Even using invert, it stays the same, push forward to look up and back to look down. It's driving me nuts!!! Any advice please?
AndyJWest Posted July 12, 2019 Posted July 12, 2019 I use TrackIR, so haven't had to look into view settings much, though they can be a bit confusing. Some of them are in the 'Camera controls' menu, and some are in 'Pilot head control', and I'm not sure which one you need to set.

If is with POV HAT in Controls > Pilot Head invert the assignments for "Move pilot head up"with "Move pilot head up". if is with mouse (less probably), look if is possible invert movement for "Bow pilot head vertically".
