My dilema Cant decide.

I tried out the bf109 k4. And I will admit I have not used a 109 in a very long time and Visually out of the axis planes I have always thought the 190s looked cooler. But this thing just understands me and it seems im better suited for using it. I can even bnz better with it. Im looking for one specific plane to specialize and train in and I still think im kind of a novice when it comes to tactics. The problem is I want to be good with the 190 but I think im better with the 109s. I know I can fly both but I want to maximize my time at becoming really good with one what should I do ? I wanna hear some opinions.

Start learning with the earlier models, you will get better understanding before settling and specialising on the latest and bestest versions

Salutations,

Choices and more choices. But I think you will be happiest flying what feels 'right' or the plane that seems better suited for you. After all, we need to enjoy our flying experiences. :salute:

Enjoy the sim at your own pace, in your own time.  There are no rules that say you have to be an expert in any plane to fly it.  We have all been new at some point.  Switch sides, fly a bomber, crash a few hundred times.  Just enjoy it.  :)

Fly what you're most interested in regardless of whether you are good in it. I'm like you, I like the 190s more than the 109s (save for the early 109E with rounded canopy). I'm better at flying in the 109s just because they are pretty easy to fly but I enjoy flying the 190 much more and find it's challenging but rewarding.

I'd say fly the 190s if that's what you like more. The more you fly the aircraft and learn it the better you'll get at using it's strengths in combat.

Anyone can be a good 109 pilot but not everyone is good at the 190.

I don't fly the 109 precisely *because* it is so easy.  If you want to learn a whole new way to fight and are happy to get fewer kills per hour then try the 190.  It still gets lots of easy kills with low risk if flown properly, just you need to be a bit more disciplined which takes longer.  If being high in the stats is your thing then fly the 109.   If you have learned how to fly the 190 properly and are now bored then try the LA5FN which has a similar style but more difficulty or the P47 which has a similar technique but is much harder to dogfight well.

Anyone is sutted to 109s, there is no suprise that you feel good in 109, as its easyest airplane in game to do good with, esecialy 109F4 and K4s.

For 190s A3 is good and has great view for aiming but is not as error free like 109s, try flying 109e7 on most maps and when your good at bnz with it as when you make mistake youll pay for it, youll be great with 190s after it.

I havent flown 190 for years but the times I flew it in mp I was able to run away from my mistakes thus surviving them.

Another story with russian planes. Do not surviva any mistakes. Meaning 1 takeoff = 1 crash

Fly more hours in the 190 and try harder. You'll figure the airplane out eventually.

Once you stop yanking and banking and start using it like a roller-coaster, things will start making sense.

I love the firepower and durability of the A8 to much. When I play I try very hard not to get shot down thats my main priority but im very aggressive and problably need to tone it down or only dive attack when Im able to pull it off right Ive decided to stick with the A8 for better or worse.
