Guys,

For those that may be interested, we're re-recording our Spotter voices due to some editing. If you're interested in volunteering and are American or British please reach out. It's not hard to do.

Hey Jason,

What is the deadline for this round of recording? I'm in the middle of a move, but would be interested if time allows, and I get myself setup before your deadline.

U.S. Midwestern accent if you are interested.

If 58 years isn't too old, I'm up for it. Have a good voice and some recording experience.  USA Mid-Atlantic originally from Southern California, so about as American as you can get. I mean no offense to midwesterners ;)

33 years old East Coast but not much of an accent. I can do it this week if needed. I'll PM?

I'm willing.  Sign me up if you like, and feel free to use others instead, if they sound better.

Originally from west Texas but I 'shaved down' my drawl during my years in the service (got tired of hearing "what?" every time I said something).  I can bring it back a little to add some 'flavor' to this, if requested.

I can volunteer, but I can only do female voice acting. lol

I believe Jason previously said that only male voice actors are required at this time, unfortunately.
Hopefully you'll get a chance in the future ?

“Ladies and gentlemen, welcome aboard C-47 flight 777 to Arnhem.  The duration of the flight will be approximately one hour and fifteen minutes, and the weather over Arnhem will be cloudy, with a chance of flak...”

I’ll be happy to oblige. You have my recordings from the last American voice sets for flights, controllers, etc. I still sound the same. Mild southern accent from Georgia

I'm game, 26 year old male with a relatively mild Yorkshire accent.

The latter can, thankfully, be toned down if needs be.

New “voice actors” were selected in the thread Jason linked in OP. Keep an eye on that to make sure he has what he needs. ?

Please, please, please, as many female voices of all nationalities as can be crammed into a small space,

be it a cockpit, a tower, a Jeep (we gotta have a drivable Jeep), anything.

An American WW2 recco pilot I knew, met his English wife when she drove up in a Jeep to get the camera film after the mission and deliver it to the film developers.

Here's a great film about just such a relationship, starring David Niven and Kim Hunter:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A_Matter_of_Life_and_Death_(film)

Rated Number 20 in the Best 100 British Films of all time.

Anyone flying this sim hasn't seen it, get it and watch it.

Superb.

The ladies fought that war right alongside their menfolk.

Let's honor them as we should.

I think a nicely modeled English pub we could meet them at would be nice . . .

Ha ha

Ty I was half joking I dont think a boston accent would help *at all* especially with non native english speakers. And especially because I got a thick boston accent.  Wicked thick, guy.

I'm Australian and did some lines which are in the old IL2 game, and part of what was called the "Commonwealth voice pack".

Actually in the original post I think there were quite a few southern, California and New York accents but not really much from New England. They were looking for a good variety of accents so one Bwaustinaa in the lot would have been great.
