Diggun Posted June 26, 2019 Posted June 26, 2019 (edited) It's the damnedest thing, but ol' Flight Sergeant Smythe was rummaging around the back of the hanger the other day (apparently he was searching for Mrs Shilling's Orifice, which had gone walkabout yet again), and, peeking under a dusty old sheet, what did the trusty old duffer uncover but a brand spanking new, freshly oiled, greased and rigged, rather spiffing Spitfire Vb! I've got all the spares I need for my ride, trusty MH999, so would like to donate this spare Spit to a new home. She's equally at home in earth tones, desert or later war camo, turns on a dime, is a bit of a b**ch on the ground, but a real lady aloft (as long as one doesn't forget to reset the damn rudder trim after takeoff!). So. 1 Spitfire Vb, free to a good home. 1st come, 1st served. All i ask is that you get inside her five (5) times a day and take her to heaven and back... Edited June 26, 2019 by Diggun 1 2 4

The Shilling Orifice - keeping pilots' engines revving since 1941! The lady herself: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Beatrice_Shilling 1
