Il2 after win 10 update [SOLVED]

After win10 update when starting il2 my OS crashed two times (bsod, game menu fine, happen when loading mission) and after reboot steam indicates il2 is not installed so i need to download and install it again.

All other steam games working fine.

I'll report back after il2 is installed again.

 

Posting here to gather answer has anyone else had this problem, mods later you can move it to tech issues subforum....thnx!

 

Update; game downloadaed and installed again, now working fine :)))

Hmm sounds very strange that 1 program isn't working with windows 10. I would try to install it Via the launcher from the website if the problem persists!

The new 1903 windows update is a dumpster fire, roll back if you can. I'm not updating off of 1806 or whatever the hell I am on.

I'm on 1903 and have no issues so far, problem is windows updates seem to be a complete gamble for some reason and work for others and literally brick others PC's. I remember an update about a year ago that put me into an infinite recovery loop.

After update 1903, my game is crashing a lot. I need to restart my PC all the time, i will install older version soon.

I was warned that vJoy software is not working with 1903 either.

I keep my Windows updated and still can see vJoy in the device manager.

Game downloaded again and now working fine......such a relief
