F Keys fixed

  After the 3.101 download my f keys went dead. On IL2 only f1 and f12 work. The others are dead.

On Rise of Flight everything works. Every thing else on IL2 works fine.  Any ideas ?

Are you using a program such as Target or the game’s config to set up your keyboard controls?

Seems very odd, since I can't think of any reason why IL-2 GB should treat one key any different from any other. Take a look in the data/input folder. There are a couple of files there that show key assignments (e.g. current.actions which you can read with Notepad) which should show the key settings. Check whether the F key actions are defined there (mine shows "cam_switch_ext_free_self,   key_f2,   0|  // External free camera at player plane" for F2 ).

I am using the games config to set up.

In the data file there are 3 columns. First is the defination, second the key number, third is mostly defination and the numbers all match up.

Also there is arow of 0 's in front of the third all the way down. I don"t know if this will help. Thanks

It doesn't look like the keys have lost their assignments then. I know TrackIr can be set to trap keypresses (so they won't get passed on to other applications), but that shouldn't trap a whole key range. A macro keyboard could do it, I suppose, but otherwise, I can only suggest that if it isn't something external, the game has got screwed up somehow, and you'll have to reinstall, which is a bit of a pain. Save the data/input and data/LuaScripts folders first, but don't copy them back in until you've checked that the F keys are working.

Is "Allow Spectators" checked in the single player difficulty settings?   I recall having to re-set some of my custom difficulty settings after this update.

   Congratulations  to Mobile B and bad marks for me because I did not check all my boxes for errrors.

The download had unchecked the allow spectators.
