Hi.

please forgive me  if I shouldn’t be asking a question here but I am new here and have never commented in a forum before.

can anyone help me with enemy padlock view? No matter what I try I can’t get an in the cockpit enemy view lock. In Rise of Flight I have no problem—works perfectly—but after downloading CoD Blitz I can’t get a padlock view on enemy fighters.

I use a Saitek Cyborg flightstick. Can anyone help me?

Thank you,

GFX

Work OK in SP (in MP depends if server allow), probable the issues is command names, assignments.

In Options > Realism > leave "No Padlock" un-tick for be able to use padlock.

In Options > Controls >  Views

Assign key/joy button for:

Padlock View - this will padlock  camera POV in the nearest plane* in your view,  don't padlock in planes hidden by your plane, don't matter if very close. Press the same key/button unlock the padlock.

Padlock View - Forward > this will allow that  camera view POV return to front of cockpit until the key/button is held pressed, avoiding that you loose reference of your aircraft when the "padlocked" plane fly for behind you. When released this key/button the view return for the "padlocked" plane - if he still in the range of padlock. I don't know what is this range, probable ~1 km.

And if want, keys/joy buttons for:

Padlock View -  Next

Padlock View -  Previous

This will allow you "jump" padlock between different planes.

* Padlock don't differentiate between enemy and friendly planes, always lock in the plane more close.

BTW - Tested in IL-2 Cliffs off Dover Blitz, with last update installed by STEAM.

Thank you so much for your very comprehensive explanation! I think I’ve done some of this but may be mistaken. I will test your instructions soon. An injury has prevented me from playing much lately but should be able to try again in the next few days. Very excited to fly! What a great combat sim!
