Vkb Gunfighter mk1 alternative extensions

First, thx for let me take part of your comunnity.

Soon will have an VKB Gunfighter mk1 base with KG12 grip, and Im  looking for an alternative extension or diy option, for those grip.

Will be much apreciated links to tutorials, how set up correctly, the springs and cams of those base, etc..

Someone have trying to do those kind of project?

Why not just get the VKB extension?

Make one DIY will be difficult due the specific machined mechanical connector and exclusive (?) 3 pin electric connector used by VKB.

 

Is not so simple like make a DIY extension for Warthog (or VPC) with Gardena nut and aluminum/PVC tube and PS2 keyboard extension.

 

I used to peek in sim forums and never see a DIY extension for Gunfighter. Anyway take a look in Elite Dangerous, Star Citzen foruns, this genre is not my "cup of tea".

 

Since Gunfighter is a relatively high cost product, the $60 asked for VKB 20cm extension kit is OK for most buyers.

 

Aliexpress show this kit as available - notice that besides the extension are special CAM and springs in he kit:

Don't help that the available model are not compatible with Gf Mk.I due the myriad of connectors used.

Maybe can be modified for Mk.I PS2 like connector.

 

A shorter straight version (~10 cm) is to be produced, drawings are showed in the Russian version of this forum.
