  • Fully weathered, with adjustable weathering (By changing opacity % of 'Weathering' folder)
  • Two types of wing camouflage included (5-Colour Lozenge & Two-Tone Camo)
  • Edited Alpha Channel to remove shine

Hi Larner,

 

I am not real good with computers so if I download The US103 Squadron Skin Pack: will it install its self or will I need to do something else with it after down loading?

No, you gotta go deep into the FC folder and find the skins for all the planes. You'll see a huge list and it has all ww1 and ww2 planes. When there, paste the skins for the planes in their respective folders (spad13, dr1, D7, etc)

 

I'm not at my comp so I cant list the correct directory path for you.

 

There is a HUGE skin pack with all skins in it on another thread too. It might have directions in that one.

Hey Hangman, 

Just as Talbot says, unfortunately it won't self-install, you'll have to drop the .DDS files into the right folder. The directory should be as follows: 

C:/ - Program Files(x86) - 1C Game Studios - IL-2 Sturmovik Battle of Stalingrad - Data -  graphics - skins - Spad13

 

Hope that helps!

Plenty of cool Jastas to paint! J5 springs immediately to mind. I'll hopefully be keeping the XIIIs coming as well - looking forwards to some more colourful dogfights ;)

These are really a work of art Larner. I have put the DDS files in the correct places, but when I come to select skins in game, only the ones that were preinstalled show as available. Any idea what I might be doing wrong?

Yeah, as Talbot says, only thing I can think of is that you aren't selecting 'Custom' in the drop down menu. Unlike RoF, Flying Circus separates official and user-made skins

Thanks so much, I didn't know that they were separate drop downs. They are a work of art, and I think the 103rd should be the official skin coordinators!
