[SOLVED] Is your YouTube HD playback down?

Hey guys,

 

I have noticed that as of yesterday the HD playback on YouTube is non-existent. You can click the little gear icon but it only shows 'Annotations ON/OFF'. I tested this on numerous videos today with firewall on/off and anti-virus on/off. There are rare times when you see the format dropdown selection but as soon as you can get you mouse over it just vanishes. I have done a full virus analysis on my PC and made sure IE was updated. So what could it be you ask?

 

Well, it was determined that Internet Explorer blows yet again (shocker I know). I ran in on Google Chrome and it worked great. Same for Firefox as well. I have not tried Safari yet.
