Only thing is to check with support. Your forum log in may not be the same as your login with the main website so that doesnt mean anything. Can you launch the game through Steam?

Also check to see if you can login on the website itself with your normal email and password.

There is a hotfix happening right now so possibly the server is a little borked at the moment, but try these things and see if they help.

hello

yes no problem launching through steam and  re imported copy start up icon . Forum log in working fine .  This happened when i tried using the exe from the  install files and it directed me to IL2 site and requested a key which obviously i dont have since i purchased from steam everything pertaining to the sim .

If you go into your game's directory via right clicking the game in steam and browse local files. Then opening your account data folder (iL-2sturm/data/accdata). You should see four dat files inside, three with your email address and one with a long string of numbers. If you have all four then your steam and game should be linked correctly. If not then something is missing in your login information and meaning it is not linked correctly. At least that is what I have in my account data folder and it is working.

Example of what you should see
_398384983.dat

myemail@email.com.dat

myemail@email.com_0.dat
myemail@email.com_398384983.data
