Hello Folks,

Can somebody please tell me how to operate the Me262 Engines without the regulator mod ?

I only use really really gentle input "1-2 percent + -  slow input" but everytime my engines shut down?

Are you referring to startup?

1000 RPM-Push ignitor
Slowly(!) increase throttle until 3000 RPM, then release ignitor

Keep slowly increasing throttle until 6000 RPM

Then do it all over again

If you're referring to flight though, I haven't had a problem except for the rare exception

The Engine mod makes the engine much less prone to overheat, causing engine fire, with too quick throttle increase.

greetings,

If the problem is the engines shutting down on throttle decrease, which is definitely easy to do, then what you are probably doing is dropping RPM below 6000 too suddenly, which can lean out the mixture too much and stall it. Written on the in-game plane specifications down the bottom it mentions not to drop RPM below 6-8000 depending on altitude.

I have been basing my throttle movement speed on the egt temp and it seems to work well.

But other than landing I don't really find myself moving the throttles between 90-100% anyway.

I set and forget.
