56RAF_Roblex Posted June 11, 2019 Posted June 11, 2019 I am just wondering if I have a bug and need to reload the game or if there is a simple solution... I watched Requiems video on how to fly the 262 and noticed two differences from what he does:- 1. When he started his engines he only pressed 'E' once and as soon as engine 1 was going engine 2 started spooling up. With me, once engine 1 is going it just sits there until I switch to engine 2 myself and press 'E' again. I asked Requiem and he confirmed he just presses 'E' once. Does anyone else have to start each engine from scratch separately? 2. I cannot move the gunsight to one side to allow me to see the RPM for engine 1 easily. I checked my key setting and it shows 'R-Alt F' should stow the gunsight and nothing conflicts with it but it does nothing. I even re-entered the key mapping to be sure. Am I doing something dumb?
AndyJWest Posted June 11, 2019 Posted June 11, 2019 Re the gunsight, apparently only the standard sight is movable. Were you using the gyro sight?
56RAF_Roblex Posted June 11, 2019 Author Posted June 11, 2019 I was about to post 'Forget my question. I have just gone back into the game and now the gunsight stows OK and even when not stowed it is not in the way of anything." I was baffled about why it changed but your reply explains everything ? Thanks.
Fliegel Posted June 11, 2019 Posted June 11, 2019 I just press E once to start both engines. Do you have both engines selected at the start? I do by default but perhaps your game behaves differently... BTW: This is the Tank Crew section of the forum. 1
